The route

Portimão to Benagil, cliff by cliff

Past the beaches of Afurada and Mato and the 17th-century Torre de Lapa, where watchmen once looked out for corsairs. Then on to Carvoeiro and Algar Seco before the boat queues for its few minutes inside Benagil Cave.
